Sprint to Sell Midwest iDEN Assets
June 15, 2009
This is going to change things for us... the customers deserve to deal with a single source... So many billing issues and account issues that take forever to be resolved. Sprint Corporate takes every opportunity possible to stick it to IPCS, including delays on new phones that are only available online... Sprint corporate perching customers through support and telesales... IPCS has done a great job with Sprint...considering all the BS.
Nextel has been looted, the technology has not been improved, and the only device to come out in like years is the blackberry 8350i (curve with 2-way button). Anyone that owns a nextel really raises my brows... the service is unlimited through boost mobile for 50/mo. Same service. Period. The limitations for Nextel/Boost for data will kill this service over time... People want to send text messages that actually send right away... picture mail sent in the same week... I have got to believe there is a way to retro-fit nextel to upgrade the low-speed-dialup style internet on the phones. Eventually Sprint will have enough highspeed towers to outperform nextel. The sprint 2-way works great, if your in coverage...
Congrats on the ruling for IPCS. We will see if it is good for business in Grand Rapids...

This is exactly what we saw after game 5 when crosby was hacking players after the game was over...
This guy is totally turning... I really thought Mario had him all set to be a good little boy... now he is just a punk. The flame is sure to go out... simply because he is not THAT good.
I hate NBC & Sid the Hack. Especially PEE-AIR. The coverage is aweful.

Two towering light rigs stood in the parking lot of the Alltel Wireless store by the Lakes Mall on Monday, shining brightly in the scene's background. Inside the store, 5025 Harvey, camera and audio technicians busily hooked up equipment. Actors practiced lines and facial expressions while the director coached them and assistants patted their makeup.
A familiar-looking actor stood in the heart of the commotion, sporting a shirt adorned with an Alltel button, spiky blonde hair and an infectious smile. Nearby, four actors wearing Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T polo shirts prepared for the shoot. Soon, they were ready to begin filming, and a silence spread throughout the store lobby. "Let's try it from the top," the director ordered.
Monday was no ordinary day for the Muskegon Alltel store. Production crews and actors, including Alltel's famous character "Chad," descended on the site to film two new commercials.
"Nervous Customer" and "Farewell" are scheduled to air nationally in the coming weeks, but will not be shown in the Muskegon and Grand Rapids areas until October. Detroit's Campbell-Ewald Advertising handled production along with The Institute, a California-based company.
Actor Matt Simmons runs into Ellis Road during filming of an Alltel commercial at Alltell Wireless, 5025 Harvey, Monday. Chad Brokaw, the actor known as "Chad" in the Alltel commercials, talks to reporters in between filming at the Harvey Street Alltel Wireless store. From Los Angeles, Brokaw has been the face of "Chad" for three years. Adam Herschman is prepared for filming by wardrobe stylists Nancy Hackett, left, and Debbie Darakdjian. Actress Keri Setaro is pictured on a TV monitor before shooting a scene in a new Alltel commercial. Cinematographer Joe Desalvo prepares to shoot. "The Harvey store is one of our best-selling locations. We wanted to come here and show our support to the city." Mark McCaslin, director of marketing and communications with Alltel.
